Good news: if you have a recent Samsung or LG Smart TV, you can watch Strong IPTV directly on it. No new box and no extra cables. Here is how to set it up.
Check that your TV is ready
- Your TV is connected to the internet (Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable).
- Your TV software is up to date: open Settings > Support > Software Update on Samsung, or Settings > General > About this TV on LG.
- You have your Strong IPTV login details from WhatsApp.
Samsung Smart TV (Tizen)
- Press the Home button on your remote and open Apps.
- Search for the player app our team recommended and install it.
- Open the app and note the device code shown on the screen, if it asks for one.
- Send that code to us on WhatsApp, or enter your login details in the app as described in your message.
- Restart the app. Your channels and movies will load in a few seconds.
LG Smart TV (webOS)
- Press the Home button and open the LG Content Store.
- Search for the recommended player app and install it.
- Open the app and follow the activation steps we sent you.
- Restart the app to load your channels and on-demand library.
Other Smart TVs
Sony, Philips and TCL TVs running Android TV or Google TV work like an Android box: install the player app from the Google Play Store. Hisense TVs with VIDAA are also supported. If you are not sure, send us your TV model and we will check it for you.
Best picture settings
- Use a wired Ethernet connection if your TV is far from the router.
- Turn off motion smoothing for a more natural picture with sports.
